T (D) Planning your digital story: the script
Digital Storytelling Site: Write a Script
1. Mark up your story looking for the following elements. Mark each with a different color highlighter.

Voiceover (for narration)
Dialogue (actually conversation spoken by the "characters" of the story)
Sound
Stage directions (tone of voice, etc.)

2, Divide your into scenes. Number them. Describe the visual image you will "attach" to each scene (each one is a slide).
3. Write an intro (title, name, introduction and background if needed) and outro (final reflection, goodbye)

4. Retype your script to include all of these elements as a continuous piece. Identify in italics the "stage directions" for each scene. These include the sounds, music, and visual displays. Include other suggestions for how spoken elements should be delivered or presented in italics throughout the spoken dialogue and voice-overs.
